March Break

DROP in to PAMA for fun all week

Looking for some exciting activities over the March Break?  PAMA is the place to be!  Each day during March Break, PAMA is offering guided tours and instructor led drop in activities.  Families can make and take home creative projects inspired by PAMA's collections.

March 12 to March 20, 2016Weekdays from 10 am - 3 pm
Weekends from 1 - 4:30 pm
Free with admission


*As space is limited for certain sessions, timed tickets will be available 30 minutes prior to the performance time at the Art Gallery reception desk and available on a first-come-first-serve basis.*

Please note that March Break programming is for families only. March Break camps can tour the facility, but will not be admitted to special programming.

Family Art and Yoga

2:00 - 3:30 pm

pre-registration is requested

Join us for a special art activity and family yoga lesson. Learn some classic yoga movements led by yoga instructor Margarita. Then create a unique piece of art to take home. All levels of yoga students welcome. Please bring your own mat. Art supplies included.

Touch the Past - Horse and Wagon Rides at PAMA

Toronto International Film Festival Short Films and Stop Motion Animation Demonstration

Nubian Pharaoh Headdress

Discover the story of the Nubian Pharaoh's and their connection to Egypt and the Nile River.   Create a Nubian Pharaoh Headdress and contribute to a community art piece of the cultures that evolved around the Nile.

In the Mix: Hip Hop Dance Workshops

In the Mix is a hip hop dance program, that is combined with iPad technologies.  Participants receive the opportunity to feel like Superstars! The focus of the program is on movement and fitness with the dance part and we use the iPads to aid children in creating their own on the spot music video.

Concert in the Courtroom with Alex Sinclair

Join musician and storyteller, Alex Sinclair in a fun family friendly folk music performance. Families can sing along and play along!

Friday, March 18

To Be Determined Theatre Presents "Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day!"

This comedy of errors follows Alexander from sunrise to sunset on 

this... well yes, you guessed it- Very Bad Day! We follow Alexander 

as he wakes up to gum in his hair, gets picked on at school, has to 

go to the dentist, doesn't get anything he wants at the store and 

then finds himself in trouble (again) for messing everything up. All he 

wants is to move to Australia. There are no bad days there. He's sure 

of it!

First performance: 10:30 - 11:30 am 

Second performance: 1:00 - 2:00 pm
