PAMA Kids and Family

PAMA is a place for children to explore their artistic talents and learn about Peel's history and heritage. We offer a variety of workshops, programs and camps suitable for children ages 6 to 12+. Caregivers must accompany children unless otherwise noted.

Saturdays and Sundays, 1 - 4:30 p.m.

These drop-in activities are included in the cost of PAMA admission and members are free.

Family Fun Days

Third Saturdays, 10 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Family time adventures happen here. Join us every month for a day full of creativity. Included in the cost of PAMA admission, guardians must accompany children.
  • Oct. 20 - Spooktacular Mask Making, 1 - 4:30 p.m.
  • Nov. 17 - Celebrate our 50th Anniversary, 1 - 4:30 p.m. 
  • Dec. 15 - Turn your clay figurines into a short animation using stop motion animation techniques, 1- 4:30 p.m.
Inspire creativity through these hands-on activities that take place on Family Fun Days: Family Art and Stories, 2:45 - 3:45 p.m., Family Fun Activity and Colouring Room, 10 a.m. - 4:30 p.m (drop-in).

Culture Days (Free Admission Weekend)

Saturday, Sept. 29, 10 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
  • Opening of Caring Across Boundaries exhibition with special activities and feature performances throughout the day. From 11 a.m. - 12 p.m., join Indigenous Drummer Suzanne Sheppard followed by Samba Squad's performance and interactive workshop from 2 p.m - 3 p.m. Drop-in throughout the day and participate in a Music Lab, our Indigenous Community Heart Garden and Fall Harvest Family Fun Activity. 
Sunday, Sept. 30, 2 - 4 p.m.

PAMA Kids P.A. Days

Drop by for two great days of creation plus explore our historic spaces. Included with admission and members are free. Caregivers must accompany children.

Corn Husk Doll

Corn Husk Dolls Workshop in partnership with Peel Aboriginal Network (PAN)

Sunday, Oct. 14, 2 - 3:30 p.m.
Celebrate fall harvest, create your very own corn husk doll and learn the traditional teachings behind them.
Non-members: $10/family and Members: $8.50/family. Space is limited - reserve your spot now. Caregivers must accompany children.

Halloween Spooktacular

Saturday, Oct. 27, 1 - 4 p.m.
Join in the downtown Brampton Trick or Treat event and continue your Halloween fun at PAMA with some spooktacular creative activities. Included with the cost of PAMA admission and members are free. Caregivers must accompany children.

Winter Break, Fun in the Sun

Dec. 24, 27, 28, 31 and Jan. 2, 3, 4, 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Warm up this winter break with creative drop-in activities designed to take you on a sunny adventure close to home. Included with the cost of PAMA admission and members are free. Caregivers must accompany children.

Please Note: Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult except where noted.
