TWO CENTURIES OF CORRESPONDENCE IN PEEL

Thursday, May 4, 7 - 8:30 p.m.

In this expanded edition of our exhibit of written correspondence, Archivist Samantha Thompson reflects on writing and technology that will make you think about how you communicate. A private viewing of the exhibit follows an informal talk interwoven with intriguing historical facts and images of a large array of communications documents.

The exhibit Messages & Media: Two centuries of correspondence in Peel explores how written communication has been shaped by changing technology. Learn about how people exchanged messages, from the days of the early post office to the rise of telecommunications.
