MOVING FORWARD:
PEEL'S TRANSPORTATION AND BUSINESS STORIES

Peel's history is linked to trains, boats, trucks, and airplanes. In the 1800s, lake ships and trains brought supplies to Peel's towns and businesses. They transported local products, from bricks to flowers, across the country. In the 20th century, Malton became the centre of Canada's aviation industry, with companies like A.V. Roe and Orenda leading development. This exhibition tells the story of innovation in transportation, and its lasting impact on Peel and the world.
