  • Kathleen Osbourne collection, [ca. 1918] - [ca. 1943]
    Collection consists of newspaper clippings, photographs, and correspondence collected by Bull family employee Kathleen Osborne. Most of the material pertains to the Bull family (please see the Wm. Perkins Bull fonds description for more information on this family). Ms. Osborne served in the Bull family's London homestead at 2 Eaton Place S.W. 1. from approximately 1928-1938.

Medical

  • Armitage family collection, [ca. 1915] - 2014
    Collection consists of personal and professional records collected by Dr. Kathleen Armitage.
  • Dr. Beaumont Dixie fonds, 1832 - 1929
    Fonds consists of the medical, financial, and personal records of Dr. Beaumont Dixie and his family. Day-books record his visits to patients on his daily rounds, but for the most part the nature of the illnesses is unmarked. The exception being "ex dent" (pulling teeth) and "attending" (childbirth). The fonds includes some items created by or sent to other family members, including correspondence and a household day-book. The fonds also includes a watercolour painting, a photograph, printed material, and published books.

    The David J. Culham fonds consists primarily of correspondence between David Culham and staff and constituents regarding issues in Mississauga. The fonds also includes material relating to summaries of rezoning applications, by-laws, reports and studies.

Science and Technology

  • Henk Degraauw fonds, 1952-2010
    Fonds consists of material created, collected, and utilized by Mr. Hank DeGraauw in his role as a Northern Electric / Northern Telecom / Bell-Northern Research Limited employee. Included are: technical manuals & bulletins; product handbooks; company newsletters; patents issued to Mr. DeGraauw; 2009 financial statements for Nortel (related to it seeking bankruptcy protection); photographs and slides documenting various technical drawings and components of the crossbar and digital phone switching systems; VHS recordings of company conferences and management updates to employees; and a published history of the Bell Telephone corporation.
  • Robertson Matthews fonds, [187?] - 1988, predominant 1900 - 1927
    Fonds consists of graphic and textual records created and collected by Robertson Matthews as well as other family members. The fonds has been arranged in series determined by subject and form of record. Series include photographs, correspondence, diaries, engineering records, literary records, personal records, Matthews family legal records and Matthew H. Matthews records.

  • Betty Odlum fonds, series 3 "Textual, ephemera, and other" (1887-2015)
    Series consists of textual records, ephemera, and other material created and/or collected by Brampton resident Betty Odlum. It includes scrapbooks, programs, and an Odlum family marriage certificate. An Odlum family history album found in the fonds will likely be of much use to those interested in the history of the Odlum family, an early settler family in the Toronto Gore area.
