Roots and Wings: A Creative Exploration of Growth
PAMA’s Youth Council recently celebrated emerging artistic expression by inviting youth and creative minds to explore the theme of growth through art.
Seeking to provide a platform for Peel’s young talent, PAMA's Youth Council invited artists between the ages of 14 and 21 who live or go to school in the Peel region to submit their work for Roots and Wings: A Youth Art Exhibition.
The exhibition’s theme was "Growth". We invited artists to explore the question: “What does growth mean to you?” The intention was to encourage them to interpret growth not only as self-growth but also social and community development, and physical growth that exists in nature, and beyond.
The Art Showcase event took place on May 24, 2025, at PAMA.
Here are the submissions from the youth artists.

Seeking to provide a platform for Peel’s young talent, PAMA’s Youth Council strives to foster inspiration, encourage expression, and develop leadership skills while promoting the rich culture and history of Peel region.
