Nature’s Canvas, July 8 – 12

Bugs, birds, nature, and art all collide as we get outside and gain inspiration from the great outdoors. Campers will learn a variety of drawing and painting techniques as well as how to turn everyday objects into eco-friendly works of art, all inspired by the natural world. We’ll observe the surrounding environment to capture the beauty of the landscape through drawing and painting as we gain a deeper appreciation for nature’s patterns and colours.

Artful Eats, July 15 – 19

Young artists will whip up creativity through a palette of flavours and imagination, bringing tasty treats to life! We’ll create a feast for the eyes with works of art inspired by the yummy world of food. From painting fruity landscapes, sculpting clay that looks good enough to eat, and exploring historical still life art, campers will discover a vibrant fusion of art and cuisine. (Please note that there will be no real food, this camp is designed to be an art camp inspired by food).

Paws and Paintbrushes, July 22 – 26

Dogs and lions and unicorns, oh my! Explore the animal kingdom through art as we celebrate unique animals and our furry pals. Magical creatures, exotic animals and our favourite pets will come to life this week as we capture the personalities of our favourite animals. Sketch, paint, sculpt and create mixed media masterpieces inspired by the magic and diversity of animals.

Olympic Art Adventures, July 29 – August 2

Kick-off the 2024 Summer Olympics with a week of high-energy activities, art, and sports. Campers will explore various art techniques inspired by the Olympics, like watercolour paintings inspired by swimming and sculpting gymnastic poses from clay. Campers will actively engage in art-infused athletic challenges, like speed painting, and will have the opportunity to participate in outdoor sports, such as soccer and capture the flag, in the spirit of the Olympic Games.
