Cozy craft series: punch needle coasters

Sunday, November 8, 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Learn the fundamentals of punch needle embroidery while creating two handmade coasters. Explore loop and satin stitches, experiment with colour and texture, and develop your own simple or abstract designs.

Cozy craft series: hand embroidered letter wall art

Sunday, November 15, 1:30 to 4:30 p.m.

Learn foundational hand embroidery techniques while creating a personalized wall hanging featuring a letter of your choice. Explore decorative stitches, floral accents, and textured embellishments, then take home a unique handmade artwork.

Cozy craft series: Kumihimo braiding workshop

Saturday, November 21, 1:30 to 4:30 p.m.

Learn the traditional Japanese braiding art of kumihimo with artist Shiemara Hogarth. Using yarn and a foam disk, participants will create a braided keychain while exploring the craft’s history, techniques and cultural significance.
