"A rich, colourful exhibition Unveiling Ability: Empowerment Through Art is more than meets the eye". "Partnering with Brampton Caledon Community Living, this exhibition provides an opportunity to amplify artists living with disabilities. On display are sixty art pieces from fabric wall hangings and quilts to mixed media, sculptures and paintings on canvas. The artists' works and stories are inspiring and remind us that art is empowering and inclusive".
Amy Dunlop, PAMA Museum Curator.
Unveiling Ability is an opportunity for artists to be recognized in their community for their exceptional gifts and talents. We appreciate PAMA highlighting the diversity of the community through their various art exhibitions, inclusive of citizens with disabilities.

It all started with the perseverance of five quilting artists, who wanted their quilts to be in a community exhibition event. With time, other artists joined in the same mission. Happening of this exhibit at PAMA is a depiction of empowerment of artists, who deserve recognition of their exceptional talents.

Quotes from the Curator, Partners, and Contributors
"Throughout the exhibit, the visitors will learn about how the railways and train technology have been important for the growth of Peel communities since the 1850s". "We have been so fortunate to partner with two railway historians on this project, Ralph Beaumont and Thomas McIIwraith, helping us stay on track for our opening on October 5, 2024".
Amy Dunlop, PAMA Museum Curator
"As a researcher, author and publisher of books on Canadian history, the story of our railways has held a lifelong fascination. Before the railways, early residents of Peel could only travel as far as they could walk in a day. Railways instantly 'conquered distance and time', even making travel coast-to-coast across the country possible. The "All Aboard" exhibit presents an opportunity to tell that story through an entirely new medium, and PAMA brings a whole range of potentially new audiences to the topic".
Ralph Beaumont contributing partner
"Sharing our lifelong discovering and knowledge of Peel railways in a public setting such as PAMA is a natural next step in pursuing our railroad history interests. This display of the Peel railway story provides one significant perspective, and I am grateful for this opportunity to present that story".
