Her archives, her voice: women’s histories revealed

Saturday, March 7, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

In celebration of International Women’s Day, join archivists for a drop-in event where you can meet some of Peel’s most outstanding women through their archival records.

Cost: Admission is free to the Archives. Access to PAMA’s Museum and Art Gallery is also available with the purchase of general admission.

Embroidered pendant workshop

March 7, 1 to 4 p.m.

Discover the art of micro-embroidery in this creative and beginner-friendly workshop.

Cost: $17+HST for public and $14.45+HST for PAMA members. Registration required.

Celebrate the spectrum: tie dye together!

Saturday, March 14, sessions at 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m., 12:15 to 1:45 p.m., and 2 to 3:30 p.m.

Join Autism Ontario at PAMA for a joyful day of creativity, connection, and celebration. In addition to tie-dye, families can enjoy entertainment, community partner booths, crafts and sensory play, light snacks, and more!

Music night with the Brampton Folk Club

Thursday, March 19, 7 to 8:30 p.m.

Enjoy the musical talents of local artists and explore our historic spaces with an intimate concert experience featuring the Brampton Folk Club.

Tonight’s program: Beyond the Ordinary – Songs to Unlock Our Imagination. Inspired by the exhibition Fantastic Landscapes: Beyond the Ordinary.

Yoga flow and verse

In celebration of World Poetry Day, join PAMA, yoga instructor Tere Lopez, and Mississauga Poet Laureate Andrea Josic for a unique experience that weaves together movement and words. This mindful session blends a gentle yoga flow with the power of poetry as we gain inspiration from the Art Gallery exhibition Fantastic Landscapes: Beyond the Ordinary.

Still life, still living, clay vessel workshop with Hibah Mian, curator of Dreamland

Sunday, March 29, 1 to 4 p.m.

This clay workshop invites participants to use air-dry clay to explore memory, identity, and place through the creation of their own hand-built vessel. Taking cues from the tradition of still life — reimagined through a contemporary, BIPOC lens — the workshop centres the quiet power of everyday domestic objects, like a fruit bowl on a kitchen table.

Cost: $26+HST for public and $22.10+HST for PAMA members. Registration required.
